For this 5th adventure of Nico and Ouistiti, next stop: Jungle! On board their beautiful new boat with a lion's head, our daring explorers leave for the Land of Masks, where a big party is coming, according to Ouistiti's cousin. But, as soon as they arrive in the jungle, they're brought by a masked group of men to the Great Sorcerer who gives them a mission, thinking they're greater wizards than him: find the Mask that will bring rain, that just got stolen by a terrible witch. Without a second thought, Nico & Ouistiti agree to help even if they're a bit scared... but the big party will only happen if they bring back the treasure!

Ouistiti is already at the controls of the new machine, ready to take off, when Nico arrives in the secret hangar. Watch out for the turbulence! Head for the forest, which hides many surprises: "Like Me" for Ouistiti and a host of new friends who all seem to be in a hurry... to disappear underground. Where are they going? Between unusual encounters and underground galleries, here is a new mystery to explore for Nico and Ouistiti.

Every day, as soon as the evening falls, Nico goes to his secret place: The Machine Shed. There, he meets up with Ouistiti, his lifelong friend. Tonight, our two friends are fine-tuning their new machine: a submarine to explore the ocean depths. It's the big dive that awaits them and a first journey rich in emotions. Between beautiful encounters and exciting aquatic adventures, Nico and Ouistiti are not at the end of their amazement.

When Nico enters the Machine Shed, Ouistiti appears standing at the front of a ship. A ship that rolls, sails and glides on the ice... It's a good thing because their next expedition is to the North Pole! On the program, a night in an igloo, the beautiful spectacle of the northern lights, an encounter with polar bears and foxes, white rabbits, a little Inuit boy and a wise old walrus. Not to mention the ice sculptor penguins who are having a hard time because the ice pack is starting to melt... a new mission for our two explorers!

For this 6th adventure of Nico and Ouistiti, let's embark on a camel ride through the vast desert!

But not just any camel... Welcome aboard the new machine of our two intrepid explorers. This peculiar camel is fully equipped for the harsh desert climate: water reserves and a giant straw for hydration, retractable mini-parasols to shield against the intense sun of these latitudes...

Amid delightful encounters with the rich local fauna (camels, dromedaries, fennecs, ibises…) and a night under the tent of the Blue Children, a new mission awaits Nico and Ouistiti: to find the Sun-Child, who is in danger. Off they go, first on a dromedary ride, then crossing the river by felucca, guided by the Great Ibis, to reach the Blue City and its Sacred Kingdom. But danger looms: the Grand Sphinx stands guard...

Packed with adventures, the story is beautifully accompanied by Anna Aparicio Català’s fold-out panoramic illustrations, bursting with color and rich in detail, offering a feast for the eyes.
