Chantage à la récré

Elsa Devernois, ill. Camille Carreau

Louise is in Year 4. She loves singing the theme tune to her favourite TV series at the top of her voice, going to school and playing with her sister Léa, who is in Year 6. However, for some time now, Léa has been a shadow of her former self. Louise discovers that her sister is being bullied by Capucine, known as Cruella, who stole their mother's beautiful angora jumper and treats Léa like a slave. When Cruella learns that Louise knows the theme song by heart, she demands that the two sisters sing it for her. But after a conversation with her father, who advises her to fight for what she believes is right, Louise finds the courage to say no.
